AUTOMATIC CLIMATE
CONTROL SYSTEM
(where provided)
According to the temperature set by the
user, the climate control system auto-
matically adjusts:
❒ temperature of the air sent to the pas-
senger's compartment;
❒ fan speed (continuous air flow varia-
tion);
❒ air distribution in the passenger's com-
partment;
❒ compressor activation / deactivation (to
cool / dehumidify air);
❒ air recirculation on / off.
The system continuously works to keep con-
stant the comfort inside the passenger com-
partment and to compensate any variation
of the outside climate conditions.
All the above functions can be changed
manually by selecting the required func-
tion/s and by changing the set parameters.
Manual setting does not impair automat-
ic control of the other functions although
the AUTO button led is off.
Manual selections prevail over automatic
ones and remain in storage until the user
decides to resume automatic control by
pressing button AUTO (except when the
system cuts in for particular safety condi-
tions).

❒ it is not possible to admit air to the pas-
senger compartment with a tempera-
ture below the outside temperature
(the displayed temperature value will
flash when the system cannot guaran-
tee the required comfort conditions);
❒ the fan speed can be set to zero man-

Questions and answers
water drainage from wind screen
To fix water drainage issues from the windscreen on a Fiat Panda:
1. Check the Scuttle Panel: Below the windscreen wipers, there is a scuttle panel with drainage holes. Remove the panel by taking out the fasteners.
2. Unblock Drain Channels: Locate the drain channels on both the left and right sides behind the inner box. These channels may be clogged with dirt and debris.
3. Clean the Drain Holes: The drainage system includes a duckbill-shaped rubber valve. Squeeze it to remove trapped dirt and ensure proper water flow.
4. Remove Windscreen Wipers if Needed: Use a 14mm socket to remove the wipers for better access.
5. Check the Washer Pipe: Ensure the windscreen washer pipe is properly connected and not leaking.
These steps should prevent water from accumulating and leaking into the footwell.
