Hi, I have a behringer PMP europower 200, 14 channel mixer that starts off fine then it starts buzzing through the speakers and eventually cuts out (turns off). I plug my iphone in through the CD inputs to play music through it from the phone. It was working fine for a couple of years, then the buzzing just started happening. Is this fixable? If so, can I fix it myself or do I need to send it out for repair? Also, is this problem worth fixing? Thank you!

Buzzing and shutdown issues in a Behringer EUROPOWER PMP2000 mixer could be caused by several factors:
1. Overheating – Ensure proper ventilation and avoid blocking airflow around the unit. 2. Electrical Issues – Check power connections, cables, and outlets for faults. 3. Speaker Connection Problems – Do not connect loudspeaker outputs to each other, to ground, or to other amplifiers. 4. Interference from High-Frequency Sources – Keep the unit away from strong broadcasting signals. 5. Acts of Nature (e.g., power surges) – Inspect for signs of damage from electrical surges or moisture.
If basic troubleshooting (checking connections, reducing interference, ensuring proper ventilation) does not resolve the problem, it is advisable to send the unit for professional repair rather than attempting internal repairs yourself.
