    Chapter 1. About this manual This manual contains service and reference information for ThinkCentre® computer machine types listed on the front cover. This manual is intended only for trained Service Providers who are familiar with Lenovo® computer products. Note: Be sure to read and understand the Chapter 2 “Safety information” on page 3 before using the information in this manual.

    Voltage-selection switch Some computers are equipped with a voltage-selection switch located near the power-cord connection point on the computer. If your computer has a voltage-selection switch, ensure that you set the switch to match the voltage available at your electrical outlet. Setting the voltage-selection switch incorrectly can cause permanent damage to the computer.
