6.5.5. Firmware Update
■
The LaCie LaCinema Premier allows you to update
the firmware of the device by reading firmware binary
codes which are located in the update folder.
To update the firmware:
1.
Go to www.lacie.com/support and click on the
Downloads
2.
Select the most recent LaCinema Premier firmware
download. Connect your LaCinema Premier to your
computer. Drag the firmware file you just download-
ed into the Update folder on the LaCinema Premier.
Disconnect the LaCinema Premier from your com-
puter and connect it to your TV.
3.
Go to Browser view from the main menu.
4.
Select the Update folder and press the
to open it.
5.
Select 'lacieLaCinema Premierfw.bin' file and press
the
OK
button. The firmware update will begin.
6.
When the firmware update is completed at 100%
and shows "Power Off Player ..." (Fig. 6.5.5), power
off LaCie LaCinema Premier by disconnecting the
AC adapter jack on the back of the product.
7.
Reconnect the power jack and power on the LaCie
LaCinema Premier to restart the product using the
new firmware.

son, the procedure fails (e.g. a power failure during
the update), you may not be able to use your LaCie
LaCinema Premier. Please contact your reseller or
