OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Operation Tips
• Note: Test the GFCI (For US unit only) before each use:
1. Plug GFCI into power outlet. Indicator should turn
green to show that cord has power.
2. Press test button, green indicator should turn off
to verify that GFCI cut off power to the cord.
3. Press reset button – green indicator should turn
on to show that cord has power again.
4. When GFCI is working properly, green indicator will
turn on when power is applied. If green indicator
turns off during use, it has detected electric
leakage and the GFCI will cut off power to the
appliance.
5. If you hear the motor run intermittently when the
trigger is not squeezed, you likely have a leak
that needs to be repaired to prevent excessive
wear on the motor. See the troubleshooting guide
for more information.
• Turn off the power washer if not being used for more
than five minutes.
• The o-rings on the high pressure hose ends and spray
gun barrel should be cleaned regularly and lubricated
with non-water soluble grease such as (not included).
• Keep the nozzle cleaning wire for use in unclogging
the nozzle. If you lose the cleaning wire, a
straightened paper clip also works.

How to Avoid Damaging Surfaces
• Damage to surfaces being cleaned occurs because
the impact force of the water pressure exceeds
the durability of the surface. Bare wood can be
penetrated, paint can be peeled off, etc. You can vary
the force of your power washer by controlling:
1. The angle of the surface being cleaned.
2. The distance of the nozzle from the surface being
cleaned.
• Never use a narrow high pressure stream of water on
soft surfaces susceptible to damage.
• Use the 25˚or 40˚ quick connect nozzle when
cleaning windows. Squeeze the trigger and vary
the spray pattern and angle until optimum cleaning
efficiency is achieved. Always test prior to using.
Using Power Cord
• Remove the power cord from the unit by swiveling the
cord hook to the up or down. The power cord then can
be slid off to the side of the power washer unit.
• Swivel cord hook back to left or right when ready to
wrap the cord back into place for storage.

Hello. just set up a new unit from Costco. worked great with light use on two consecutive days. Then just locked up: the lance can't remove tips or connections and will not start. No sputtering sounds. has electricity and water. Lance is locked as well. I have reset, pushed the test button. what is odd, i set back in garage went back this morning and the lance tip would release. Set it back up to use and same issues. Appreciate any help. thank you
If the Blue Clean XP3-2400 pressure washer is locked up and won't start, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Do not use an extension cord.
2. Test the ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI):
a. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V outlet. A green light should turn on immediately.
b. Press and release the TEST button on the GFCI. The green light should turn off.
c. Press and release the RESET button on the GFCI. The green light should turn on again.
3. Try plugging into at least three different outlets to rule out an issue with the power source.
4. Ensure the power switch is OFF before plugging in the unit.
5. Completely unwind the power cord and plug it securely into the outlet.
6. Turn the power switch to the ON (|) position. The unit should turn on briefly and then shut off, which is normal for the auto-start feature.
7. Ensure the water supply is fully open at the faucet.
8. Unlock the spray gun safety lock, then squeeze the trigger to release air and allow water to flow.
If the unit still does not start, contact customer service for further assistance.
