SETTING
METHOD FOR SETTING TOPO SURVEY
Save the data of the bucket edge position, then you can observe the current terrain. For the observation, there
are manual method and automatic method. In the manual method, a single datum is saved. In the automatic
method, data are saved continuously.
Tap "Topo Survey" button in the Tools menu.
The screen changes to topographical survey setting screen.
(1) "Project layer for Topo:"
You can set the layer to which the topographical survey point is
saved.
(2) "Log at:"
You can set the bucket edge position for which the topographi-
cal survey is done.
(3) "Auto-Topo:"
You can switch the method of topographical survey between
Manual and Auto.
(4) "Topo button:"
You can do setting of the operation of the TOPO survey button.
(5) ENTER button
Tap the ENTER button and the setting is saved.
(6) RETURN button
Tap the RETURN button and the screen goes back to the previous screen.
REMARK
For the method of the topographical survey, there are 3 types as follows. For details, see "USE OF TOPO SUR-
VEY".
• Not active
Each time "Topo Survey" button is pushed on the working screen, a single point datum is saved.
• Minimum horz. distance
Coordinates of the bucket edge position are saved continuously by each time the work equipment moves
for the set distance.
• Fixed time interval
Coordinates of the bucket edge position aresaved continuously at the set time interval.
