Listen to voice messages

(Menu 4-4-2)
When you enter this submenu, the
phone automatically calls your voice
mailbox at the phone number stored
within Menu 4-4-3. Note that the voice
mailbox is a network service and you
may need to subscribe to it first.
Tip: To quickly call your voice
mailbox, press and hold
when the display is clear.
Tip: When the display text above
the left selection key is Listen,

Security settings (Menu 4-5)

Your phone is equipped with a versatile
security system to prevent
unauthorised use of the phone or the
SIM card. See "Security settings"on
page 80.
PIN code request (Menu 4-5-1)
Within this menu you can set the phone
to ask for the PIN code of your SIM card
when the phone is switched on. You
need the PIN code to set the request on.
Note:
Some SIM cards do not allow
the PIN code request to be turned
off.

Voice mailbox number

(Menu 4-4-3)
Within this submenu, you can store and
edit your voice mailbox number. Voice
mailbox is a network service. For more
information and for the voice mailbox
number, contact your service provider.

Service command editor

(Menu 4-4-4)
From this submenu you can send
service requests (also known as USSD
commands), for example activation
commands of network services, to your
service provider. For more information,
contact your service provider.

Call barring service

(Menu 4-5-2)
This network service allows you to
restrict incoming calls to and outgoing
calls from your phone. A barring
password is required for using this
function.
You can select one of the following call
restrictions:
Outgoing calls
outgoing calls
to bar all
