You can send or receive a person's
contact information as a business card
either via IR or as an Over The Air (OTA)
message if supported by the network.
To send a business card as an OTA
message, find the desired name and
number from the phone book and then
use the option
To send a business card via IR, use the
option
Send card via
"Copying via IR" on page 52 and "Trans-
mitting data" on page 78.
When you receive a business card, press
Show. Then press Options, select
or Discard, and press OK.

Note: Chinese business cards
can not be sent via IR.

Copying via IR

Copying a name and number
Using your phone's infrared (IR) port,
you can send names and phone
numbers as business cards to a
compatible phone or PC which is
running an appropriate application.
When sending business cards to
another phone, make sure that the
other phone is set to receive data via its
IR port.
