1 0.1 Firmware Installation

When you insert a hard disc on the system for the first time, please power on the player and
wait for another 30 seconds, then connect it to your PC by USB cable, and then double click
FirmwareInstaller.exe (for Windows OS only) which can be found on the Driver CD on your PC.
Note: Please backup the data in your hard disc in advance. Because the following steps will
format the hard disc, which will ERASE ALL DATA currently stored on the hard disc.
Step 1: Check Movie Cube-R
Make sure the software found Movie Cube-R on Windows. If yes, click 'Next' to next step. If not,
check the USB cable is connected.
Step 2: Select 'Re-install firmware (All data on the HDD will be removed)'
Select 'Re-install firmware (All data on the HDD will be removed)', and click 'Next'. Clicking
next will erase all data currently stored on your hard disc
