Conversion to LP Gas

Warning!
This conversion must be performed by a
competent person. After conversion the
installation must comply with the relevant
regulations and also the local electricity supply
company requirements. Read the instructions
before converting this appliance.
Failure to convert the appliance correctly could
invalidate any warranty or liability claims and
lead to prosecution.
This instruction must be used in conjunction
with the rest of the appliance instruction, in
particular for information on Standards, cooker
positioning, connection hose suitability, etc.
When servicing or replacing gas-carrying
components disconnect from gas before
commencing operation and check appliance is
gas sound after completion.
Do not use reconditioned or unauthorised gas
controls.
Conversion
Disconnect from electricity and gas before
servicing. Check appliance is safe when you
have finished.
This appliance is CAT II 2H3+. It is supplied set
for G20 natural gas at 20 millibar
Burner head
Burner base
A conversion kit for LP gas is supplied with the
cooker.
Injectors
Remove pan supports and burner heads.
Undo and remove the brass venturis.
Either:
Use a long box spanner to access and remove
the old injectors.
Servicing - warning
Or:
Lift up the front of the hotplate top and prop
it up. The burner bases are now accessible –
remove the old injectors.
Save the injectors removed from the appliance
for possible future use. Fit the new injectors;
see the table on the next page for the correct
jet type.
If you have lifted up the hotplate then carefully
replace it taking care not to damage or displace
the ignition electrodes or flame safety probes
(arrowed) and replace the rear fixing screws.
To convert the control taps
Pull off all the control knobs.
Open the oven door and grill door and remove
the fixing screws underneath the control panel.
Remove the 3 fixing screws at the top of the
control panel.
Pull the control panel forward. Rest it on the
open grill door and the open right-hand oven
door: the tap bypass screw is now accessible.
Unscrew the tap bypass screw.
Brass venturi
Using a pair of long nose pliers carefully
remove the bypass screw and fit the correct
replacement screw. Refer to the table on the
next page for the correct size. Tighten the
screw down.
Repeat for all the burner control taps.
