Fault
The metering slide opens too
slowly.
Agitator not working.
Metering openings clogged by:
• Fertilizer clumps
• Moist fertilizer
• Other impurities (leaves,
straw, bag residues)
The spreading discs do not turn
or stop suddenly after being
turned on.

The metering slide is sluggish.
Agitator drive is defective

When using a universal drive
shaft with shear pin protection:
• The shear pin is defective

Measure
u Clean orifice plate.
u Replace 0.7 mm orifice plate
with a 1.0 mm plate.
w The plate is at the hose
connection of the plug-
in connector.

u Park tractor, remove ignition
key, disconnect the power
supply,
u Open metering slides.
u Place the collecting vessel
underneath.
u Remove spreading discs.
u Clean the outlet from below
with a wooden pole or the
adjustment lever and push
through the
opening.
u Remove foreign bodies from
the hopper.
u Install spreading discs, close
metering slides.
• Check the shear pin
protection, and replace if
necessary (see the
universal drive shaft
manufacturer's manual).
