    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 5 of 28 Startup 2.1 Powering Up Hold the power button till the Green LED light at the top of the scanner illuminates.. Note: Do Not Switch Off in normal use. Just plug unit into wall outlet at end of night.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 7 of 28 3.1 ID Scanner Tapping the ID Scanner button will launch the scanning form. Below is an image of the ID Scanner form, which displays a scanned card, and all the elements of the form.

Scanned Data List Tapping the Stats button displays statistics of recent customer visits, by gender, age, and state during a selectable timeframe.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 9 of 28 Scanned Data Individual Record The Tag button allows a Tag to be added to the displayed customer ID. See the section Tagging an ID for details. The Email/Phone button allows an email and/or phone number to be added to the dis- played customer ID.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 10 of 28 3.4 Setup Tapping the Setup button will display a menu of functions that are typically used by a system administrator. These functions can be protected by pin codes to keep settings and information secure.

    Page 11 of 28 The About button will display information about the ID Scanner including the current version of the IDVisor Smart V2 software and the device serial number. View EULA displays the End User License Agreement. The Back button returns the application to the Home Screen.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 12 of 28 4.2 Taking Pictures of an ID If the Photos option is installed, once an ID is successfully scanned, you will now be able to optionally take a picture of the scanned ID. The scanner software allows two pictures per ID scanned, which allows you to take a picture of the front and back of an ID.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 13 of 28 4.4 Create a manual Entry Manual Entry allows you to manually enter the First name, Last name, Date of Birth, and Expi- ration Date on an ID that you are unable to read. To create a manual entry, tap the Manual Entry button and enter the First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and ID Expiration Date.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 14 of 28 4.6 Taging an ID Tag allows you to tag an ID at the time it is scanned. You can use the existing tag names pro- vided on the scanner or create your own in the Tag List option under Setup.

    IDVisor Smart V2 User Guide Page 15 of 28 4.7 Adding an Email or Telephone The Email/Tel button allows you to add an email and phone number to associate with the scanned ID. Once an ID is scanned the Email/Tel button will be available. Tapping on this button will open a form for entering the Email and/or Phone information.

Setup Menu Set Date/Time is the first button, and the system date and time must be set correctly to calcu- late the correct age from IDs.
