- Page 3 1. Set the fan base on a dry, level surface. 2. Plug the cord into any standard 120 Volt AC outlet. To turn the fan on, press the On/Off Button on the control panel. The fan will start at Med speed (but the Low speed light will turn on). The fan will automatically change to Low speed in 10 seconds.
