Allows you to set the current date and time (_
pg. 13).
Allows you to set the tape length depending on the tape used (_
pg. 14).
OFF
When set to "OFF", allows you to record in VHS on an S-VHS
cassette.
This feature allows you to set the parameters for Animation
and Time-Lapse
recording (_
pg. 41 ).
This feature allows you to set timeparameters for Self-Timer (_
pg. 40) and Time-
Lapse recording (_
pg. 40, 41 ).
OFF
Timetally lamp remains off at all times.
Timetally lamp comes on to signal the start of recording.
Allows you to select the language (ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH or PORTUGUESE)
of Instant Titles (;z_ pg. 31 ).
This number
is necessary when connecting
the camcorder
to a device such as a computer
using the Jterminal
(JLIP). Time numbers
range from 01 to 99. Factory setting is 06.
Automatic
demonstration
will
not take place.
ON
Demonstrates
certain
functions
such as Fade/Wipe,
etc. When
"DEMO
M()DE"
is set to "ON"
and the Menu
Screen
is closed,
the demonstration
starts.
NOTES:
• When
a tape whose
Erase Protection
tab is in the position
that
allows
recording
is loaded
in the camcorder,
demonstration
is
n ot a w_ilab le.
• By turning
off the camcorder
or inserting
a tape whose
Erase
Protection
tab is in the position
that allows
recording
into
it,
"DEMO
MODE"
is set to "OFF"
automatically.
• During
the demonstration,
all functions
except
zoom
are
disabled.
