Timer operations
This unit incorporates a built-in timer standby function.
By using an audio timer optionally available in the
market, wake-up playback can be started at any time of
the day.
Preparations for timer playback
Connect the power cords of the components to the
timer so that their powers can be turned on via the
timer.
Read carefully the instruction manual of your audio
timer.
Main unit
Timer playback
Set the power switches of the components to
ON.
Place a disc in the magazine or on the plus-1 disc
tray.
(Refer to page 13.)

Set the amplifier volume.

Start playback.

Adjust the volume of the amplifier.

Stop playback.
4 Set the timer at the desired time of the day.
> Read carefully the instruction manual of your audio timer.
» When the set time comes, playback starts automatically.
When operating the unit other than CD player using an
audio timer, be sure to remove the disc or the magazine
from the CD player.
Note:
Because the program file function reads and remembers the TOC data (information on the number of tracks and playing time), it cannot be played
(recalled) properly if the disc in the magazine is changed, added or removed.
