STERN GEAR LUBRICATION
20 Stern Bleed Feed
21 Standard Exhaust with Stern Bleed
Beta 10 to Beta 60 - can be connected to the heat
exchanger end cap using our 'Stern Bleed kit' and drilling
and tapping the end cap.
A cooling water 'bleed' for stern gear lubrication of the
cutlass bearing can be taken from the engine as it leaves
the heat exchanger.
22 Stern Bleed with Anti-syphon Valve
Beta 75 upwards - need a 'T' piece with an 1/8" BSP
connection fitted just after the heat exchanger as shown
in the drawing. It is important that this 'feed' is taken
from the engine side of an anti-syphon valve or you can
'hydraulic' the engine with catastrophic results.
