. Anti-skating adjustment
Align the number (2 g with this unit) corresponding
to the designated tracking force of the cartridge used
with the reference line.
. Stylus height adjustment (Fig. 8)
Place the record on the platterd and set the arm lifter

stylus
height
adjust
screw
with
an_
ordinary
screwdriver so that the distance from the record sur-
face to the stylus tip is between 6 and 9 mm.
. Stylus descent position adjustment
Use a 30 cm record or a HITACH test record (HT-5,
stock No. 2561081) for this adjustment.
(1) Remove the cap. (Refer to Fig. 9)
(2) Perform the auto-in operation and check the

position
adjust
screw
with an ordinary screwdriver.
When
this position is too far inside the record, rotate
the screw to the left, and when too far out-
side, rotate the screw to the right. Rotating
the screw through a half-turn causes the des-
cent position of the stylus to change about 1.5
mm,
Repeat (2) and (3), and adjust to the position
in Fig. 10. When adjusting with the HITACH
HT-5 test record (side A), adjust to about 15
counts at the 30 cm position. When
the de-
scent position of the stylus is adjusted on this
unit, the return position is simultaneously ad-
justed.
. Speed adjustment (Fig. 11)
When the stripes of the strobo appear to flow and are
resistors (R52, 53) in the following way.
. Return sensitivity adjustment (Fig. 11)
Adjust as follows when replacing the CdS01 and DO3
or when the return circuit is malfunctioning.
