3. Adjustment Procedures
3-1. Initial Setting
Adjusting point: RV41, RV42
1.. Set front switches as follows:
POWER
WHITE BALANCE
GAIN
SHUTTER
FULL AUTO
2. Turn RV4i clockwise and RV42 fully counter
clockwise.
3. Check to see POWER LED is turned on.
Check to see AWB LED is turned on.
3-2. VOFD Adjustment
Test point:
Q202 emitter
Test equipment: Oscilloscope
Adjusting point: RV32
1. Shoot the gray scale to fill whole screen. Open the lens
aperture to maximum so that saturation occurs
sufficiently.
2. Adjust RV32 until emitter output of transistor Q202
shows 1000mV + 50mV.

3-3. Input Level Adjustment
Test point:
TPS1, TPS2
Test equipment: Oscilloscope
Adjusting point: Lens aperture, RV21
1000 +50mvV
1. Shoot the gray scale to fill whole screen and adjust
lens aperture until waveform at TP51 shows
450 mVp-p.
3-4. VAP Adjustment
Test point:
TP56
Test equipment: Oscilloscope
Adjusting point: RVS1, RV52
1. Shoot the gray scale to fill whole screen. Check
amplitude of waveform at TP56 is minimum. (If not,
perform following steps.)
2. Turn RV51 fully clockwise and adjust RV52 so that
waveform amplitude at TP56 shows minimum.
3. Turn RV51 counter clockwise and then the waveform
will appear again. Further turning in counter clockwise
direction decreases the amplitude. Fix the adjustment
at the minimum position.
