SECTION 3
ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
1. Preparation before Adjustment and Check Items
1-1. Before Adjustment
The Adjustment procedures in this manual should be used
only when some electrical components are replaced and
related electrical adjustments are needed.
When some failures occur, always locate the failures
using measurement equipments and perform repairing ,
replacing, and then make required adjustments. Do not try
to make any adjustment before you do not find the
location(s).
Moreover, some of failures may not require readjustment,
so always perform the adjustment as required.
1-2. Equipment Required
1. Oscilloscope 5mV/div., 2 channels
2. Color video monitor
3. Lighting
Halogen lamp (SOOW) x 2
Note:
If unevenness illumination exists on the pattern surface,
correct adjustment will not be performed, so adjust
lighting devices until flat illum ination is obtained.

7. Tripod, lens, and AC adapter
(or DC12V power supply)

1-3. Preparation
1. Place the chart at a position of about 50cm in front of
the camera, and adjust light positions so that flat
illumination is obtained at the test chart.
2. Connect the video output signal to the monitor and
terminate it with a 75 ohm resistor.
3. Set switches on the CCU (Camera Control Unit) as
follows:
¢ Front panel
POWER
WHITE BALANCE
FULL AUTO
AGC
OFf
Note:
Perform the adjustment in a place free from dusts,
rubbish, etc. so that the camera head is free from dirty.
¢ Rear panel
SHUTTER
4, How to open CCU
1) Disconnect all cables connected to the CCU.
2) Remove three screws on bottom of the CCU.
3) Pull out the cover by sliding it in the direction A
shown.
