I (4x) J (4x) TOOL REQUIRED Cat. No.: 4070249 4010663... - Page 5 25”- 41.75” 63.5cm-106cm WARNING To avoid the danger of death or serious injury, never stack one barrier above an other in an opening. Ensure the safety gate is fixed on clean and solid walls. If the safety barrier is used at the top of the stairs, it should not be positioned below the top level.
- Page 6 Before you begin, ensure that the gate is wide enough for the entire opening. You can adjust the width by moving the connectors (I) and (J) into the pre-drilled holes. 2 5’’ - 41.75’’ 63.5cm - 106cm Cut the installation template along the dotted line. Position the longer piece (G) on one side of wall and shorter piece (H) to the wall directly opposite.
- Page 7 diameter broach to drill holes on the remarked position. Drill a 5mm hole in the six marked positions. Insert the wall plugs (A), and use screw (B) to fix components (C) and (F) into place. Adjust bolts (K) and (L) on the gate to fit the required opening. Caution: Please refer to page 9 to see the avaliable width configurations.
- Page 8 <1mm Mark the two hole positions for component (E) ensuring that gap between the spindle and the grove is less than 1mm. Drill two 5mm holes and insert the wall plugs (A). Attach component (E) to the wall with two screws (B). Ensure that the gap around the spindle is less than 1mm on all sides.
- Page 9 34MM<L 25MM<L L<60MM L<60MM Use the tools provided to adjust bolts (K) and (L) to ensure that the gap between the gate pivot side and the wall is a minimum of 34mm and a maximum of 60mm. On the gate lock side, the maximum gap must be less than 60mm.
- Page 10 One-hand operation. To open the gate in either direction press the lock button down and then lift the gate. Check that the gate is securely closed behind you. Adjust bolt (K) to improve the lock operation if required. Caution: Check the lock function before each use! Assembly as below：...
