    MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE 2.1 Emptying the scale collector* • For long lasting steam performance, empty the scale collector every now and then. • Switch off and unplug the appliance. Appliance must be completely cooled down and unplugged for at least an hour before emptying the scale collector.
