Description
The cable runs from the LAN1 port on the VLP to
the MDC/Laptop or docking station. The end cus-
tomer may opt to plug into a local router/modem
instead of the PC or docking station.
Connect the VLP power harness to the vehicle's
ignition assembly. Secure the power connector to
the VLP with the included screws.
Red = Constant Battery
IMPORTANT: No charge guards or
timers, must be constant 12 VDC
Yellow = Ignition
IMPORTANT: No timers - Must imme-
diately turn on/off with ignition
Black = Ground
NOTE: The above applies to all gas and
electric/hybrid vehicles.
The LPR cameras can be plugged into the VLP
PoE ports in any order, but best practice is to order
them as follows:
1 Camera 1 for Front Driver
2 Camera 2 for Front Passenger
3 Camera 3 for Rear Passenger
4 Camera 4 for Rear Driver
