SERIAL NUMBERS
Attached to the rear panel of the instrument is a
serial number plate. The serial number is in the form:
0000A00000. The rst four digits and the letter are
the serial number pre x. The last ve digits are the
sux. The pre x is the same for identical instruments; it
changes only when a con guration change is made to the
instrument. The sux, however, is assigned sequentially
and is di erent for each instrument.
This manual applies to instruments with serial numbers
pre xed 3108A and above.
