Explanation of the parameters

Dual assignment of the socket
Defines whether dual assignment of the socket is enabled for the respective channel group.
The channel groups are defined by the digital inputs of the relevant sockets:
• Channels 0 and 1 form the channel group at socket X10
• Channels 2 and 3 form the channel group at socket X12
• Channels 4 and 5 form the channel group at socket X14
• Channels 6 and 7 form the channel group at socket X16

Diagnostics: Low voltage 1L+
Enabling of the diagnostics for insufficient supply voltage 1L+.
Diagnostics: Low voltage 1L+ triggers the "Undervoltage" maintenance event. You can find
more information in section Maintenance events (Page 33).
Diagnostics: Short-circuit
Enabling of diagnostics for short-circuit to ground at transducer supply
Diagnostics: Wire break detection and alarm
Activation of wire break detection and enabling of diagnostics. In the event of an interruption
of the line between the encoder and I/O device, a diagnostics alarm is generated.
NOTE
Effect on the value status
When the parameter is deactivated, wire break detection is switched off. A wire break does
not have an effect on the value status.
Input delay
This parameter can be used to suppress signal interference. Changes to the signal are only
detected if they are present consistently for longer than the set input delay time.
In isochronous mode, the terminal signal is read in at the time T
data). The read-in time T relates to the channel for which an input delay time of 0.05 ms was
configured.
For input channels with longer input delays, the read-in time is moved accordingly. This
means individual channels can be assigned input delays, if necessary, without having a
negative impact on the possible cycle time.
Isochronous configuration is only possible if there an input delay of 0.05 ms is configured for
at least one channel. Otherwise, the "Parameter assignment error" diagnostics alarm is
output.
