PERSONAL SETTINGS

6.1 Set Date & Time
Providing you have subscribed to your network's Caller ID service, the date and time is set automatically for all
handsets every time a call is received. The date and time is recorded with each answering machine message you
receive. If you do not have a Caller ID service you can set the date and time manually.
1. Press <Menu> to select Date & Time.
2. Press <Menu> and edit the time in 12 hour format. Press <Up/Down> to toggle AM/PM settings.
3. Press <Menu> to continue entering the date.
4. Press <Menu> to save the settings.

Set Ringers

WARNING
When the phone is ringing, avoid holding the earpiece too close to your ear as it may damage your hearing.
6.2.1

Set the ringer tone

1. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Ringer Setup.
2. Press <Menu> to select Ringer Tone.
3. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select a ringer melody. The current ringer melody will be played for 5
seconds. Totally 10 melodies are available for selection, including 5 polyphonic and 5 normal ones.
4. Press <Menu> to save.

Set the ringer volume

1. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Ringer Setup.
2. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Ringer Volume.
3. Press <Up/Down> to increase or decrease the volume level. (6 levels are available, including ringer off. The
corresponding volume effect will be played while browsing the volume option.)
4. Press <Menu> to save.
6.2.3

Key tones on/off

When you press a key on the base you will hear a beep. You can switch these beeps on or off.
1. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Ringer Setup.
2. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Key Tone.
3. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to turn on/off the key tone.
4. Press <Menu> to save.

Advanced Base Settings

6.3.1

Set the base name

Personalize your phone base with a name or location like Peter or Bedroom. Maximum 14 characters are
supported.
1. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Settings.
2. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Base Name.
3. Press <Menu> and enter the base name.
4. Press <Menu> to save.
NOTE
The base name will be displayed in idle screen.
6.3.2

Set the display language

You can change the display language.
1. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Settings.
2. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to select Language.
3. Press <Menu> and <Up/Down> to the language you want.
4. Press <Menu> to save.
