Burner knob

With the burner knob, you can ignite the
burner and regulate the flame. The
burners can be variably adjusted
between the lowest and highest
settings.
Depending on the model, the range will
be equipped with Backlit burner control
knobs.

Operation tips

Fire hazard due to overheated
food.
Unattended food can overheat and
ignite.
Do not leave the cooktop unattended
while it is being used.
Do not turn the control knobs to the
right beyond "Off".
A spark may be generated on all
burners when a control knob is turned
on. This is normal and does not
indicate an appliance defect.
A brief reignition may occur during
activation (clicking 1–2 x), e.g., in case
of a draft.

Automatic re-ignition

Your rangetop is equipped with an
automatic re-ignition function. If the
flame goes out, e.g. because food has
cooked over or there has been an air
draft, the flame is automatically re-
ignited.
If there has been a power failure,
the automatic re-ignition feature will
not work properly.
Operate the cooktop only under
supervision. If the burner has not
ignited or the flame goes out, turn off
the burner knob.
