Notes and Recommendations

After initiating a firmware update of the AM-TX3-100, the file will be transferred to the device and
can take up to 30 seconds for the update to complete. During a firmware update, the LED ring will
indicate completion progress in an amber circle. Do not disconnect the device until the LED ring goes
from white circling to solid green, indicating it has re-connected to the AirMedia receiver.

System Requirements and Dependencies

The AM-TX3-100 / AM-TX3-100-I requires an AirMedia Series 3 receiver with Wi-Fi support (-WF).
Support for pairing, updating, and presenting with AM-TX3-100 devices is available in AirMedia
Series 3 receiver firmware version 3.0000.0067 or greater.
Prior to pairing an AM-TX3-100 with an AM-3x00-WF receiver, it is recommended to select the
appropriate System Mode on the receiver (Settings à System Setup à System Mode) to streamline
configuration.
Optimized for Video Quality enables one AM-TX3-100 device to present at 4K30.
