• Select a thicker heavy duty blade for hard materials.
A thicker blade also has a longer life.
• Install the blade with the bevel up for removal of
materials from concrete floors.
• Install the blade with the bevel down for removal of
materials from wood floors and soft subfloors.
To connect and disconnect the propane
tank
CAUTION:
tank type. An incorrect propane tank can
cause damage to the product. Refer to
Technical data on page 24 .
CAUTION:
tank is in correct position. Do not use the
propane tank with the top down. Refer to the
instructions of the Operator's manual of the
propane tank.
If the propane tank is connected and the product is not
in operation, close the propane tank valve.

Use the correct propane
Make sure that the propane
1. Make sure that the propane tank is tightly held
in position by the lock and the holder plate. The
propane tank cannot move when the propane tank
is correctly installed.
2. Connect the propane hose from the product to the
propane tank.
3. Make sure that the propane hose is correctly
connected to the fuel valve on the engine.
4. Make sure the all couplers are in line. Tighten the
couplers by hand to connect the propane tank to the
product.
CAUTION:
complete the connection of the propane
tank to the product. The couplers can
become damaged.
5. Turn the propane tank valve counterclockwise until it
stops to start the flow of the propane.
6. Do a soap test on all propane lines. Refer to
examine the propane tank and lines on page 17 .
7. Disconnect in the opposite sequence.
To start the product
1. Do a check of the OPC for correct operation. Refer
To do a check of the operator presence control on

page 8 .
2. Sit on the seat, put your feet on the footrests and
fasten the seat belt.
3. Make sure that the throttle speed is set to low rpm.
4. Set the movement controls in neutral position.
5. Turn the ON/OFF key clockwise.
6. Set throttle speed to 3600 rpm.
