It is strongly recommended that a backup and security system is in place, along with an antivirus protection system to make sure that no data on the hard disk drives are lost, stolen, or compromised.

    2. TPM (Trusted Platform Module) TPM is a standard security chip (tamper resistant hardware) installed in the imagePRESS Lite C170 / C165 machines. The TPM provides a facility for the secure generation of cryptographic keys, encrypts information stored on the internal HDD, and decrypts information read from the internal HDD.
