Thread the Pipe Cap onto the down pipe and tighten securely. Then secure the cap with
the set screw.
WARNING! You must thread the Dome Cap onto the Down Pipe until it is tight, and secure it
!
with the set screw. Failure to do so can result in damage, serious injury, or death.

NOTICE! Use a guy-wire to aid in stabilizing the Parapet Arm. Replace the 1/4 inch cap screw

with a threaded 1/4-inch stainless steel eye bolt (not supplied). Loop the guy-wire through the
eye bolt and attach both ends to anchor spots on the roof. See Figure 2.9 on page 28.
