WARRANTY – Serial # Label The serial # label, located on the rear of the machine, shows necessary information.
OPERATION – Sensors (1) Load Sensor (WFG to WFX) • At predefined points during the initial fill, the machine determines if it needs more water using a pressure switch. This is due to differences in the absorption of the laundry and the size of the loads. Dynamic Load Sensor (WFR to WFW) • During the entire fill the machine continually adjusts the size for the load and determines if more water is needed using an analogue pressure switch and a flow meter. Digital Temperature Sensor (All Models) • The thermostat monitors the temperature of the water and controls the length of the time the heating element is turned on, ensuring the proper temperature for the chosen cycle. Suds Sensor (WFG to WFX) • During the beginning of the 1 rinse/spin stage, the washer determines if there is excessive suds-...

OPERATION – Sensors (2) • and automatically adds 2 rinses (if necessary). This is accomplished via the pressure switch and the motor synchronisation system. Continuous Suds Sensor (WFR to WFW) • Checking the pumping out phase of the main wash, the beginning of the rinse/spin phase and the actual spin speed vs. the programmed spin speed, the washer determines if there is excessive suds and automatically adds 2 rinses (if necessary). This is accomplished via the analogue pressure switch, pressure switch and the motor synchronisation system. Unbalanced Load Sensor (All Models) • During the final spin cycle the machine monitors the positioning and balance of the load. If the load is unbalanced, if the machine stops and adjusts the load up to 15 times and reduces the spin speed to finish the cycle. This is accomplished via the motor synchronisation system.
Page 18
OPERATION – Sensors (3) Load and Dynamic Load Sensor Mechanical Pressure Switch – (All Models) measures the water level after the first fill. If the water level is high (like for smaller loads), the pressure increases and the pressure switch does not provide more water. Analogue Pressure Switch – (WFR to WFW) • Precise measuring of actual water level • Accurate load detection • Control of the pump – noise reduction • Time reduction – no pumping when empty BENEFITS: Continuous adjustment of wash times. Water and energy consumed varies according to load size.
Page 19
OPERATION – Sensors (4) Flow Meter • Exact monitoring of water inflow • Ensures exact control of water inlet valves so that there is always the right amount of wash and rinse cycles. • Together with the pressure switch, there is a continuous adjustment of wash time, water and energy in relation to load size. • The flow meter works independently of water pressure. BENEFITS: Minimises water consumption, exact load detection and superior cleaning performance.
Page 20
OPERATION – Sensors (5) Digital Temperature Sensor • All Models are equipped with the Temperature Sensor to deliver guaranteed wash temperatures.
Page 21
OPERATION – Sensors (6) Suds & Continuous Suds Sensors • WFR to WFW – Detection during draining out after main wash (immediate additional rinse & cancelling of 1 rinse spin) • All Models – Detection during 1 rinse spin (immediate interruption of spin, insertion of one or two additional rinses, reduced agitation during additional anti foam rinse) • WFR and WFW – Detection during any other rinse spin (immediate interruption of spin, reduced agitation in following rinse cycle) All subsequent rinse spin cycles are always rechecked for suds. NOTE: Suds build up usually occurs when there is way too much detergent being used for lightly soiled loads.
Page 22
OPERATION – Sensors (7) Unbalanced Load Sensor (2 Step Detection) • Accurate measuring of unbalance by deviation of spin speed and slow down time of drum. • Infinite adapting of spin speeds. • Compensates reducing spin speeds by prolonging spinning times. • Will attempt up to 15 times to redistribute a load. Advantages: • Reduction of noise. • Better stability of machine. • Good spinning results with big unbalances.
OPERATION – Cleaning Drain Pump Filter Larger objects such as coins and paper clips are collected in the drain pump trap so that they won’t plug up or damage parts of the machine. The filter can easily be cleaned by customers.
OPERATION – (WFG to WFX) Demo Display Information/Not Running...
Page 25
OPERATION – (WFR to WFW) Demo Display (50hz for EU) NOTE: Do not use WFG to WFX Models as Sales Display Models – All the lights will turn on but the machine will not run.
SERVICE TIPS – WFG to WFX Test Programs (1) WFG to WFX have 4 different test programs that enable the washers to self diagnose problems, including the last fault code. NOTE: Model in picture doesn’t match instructions above, however both models act the same when entering and running the test programs.

SERVICE TIPS – WFG to WFX Test Program (2)
SERVICE TIPS – WFG to WFX Test Program (3) To enter the tachometer test program (only works on models with Express programming). (Tests the Motor by doing a quick spin) • Rotate cycle selector to Off position and rotate spin dial to max speed. • While holding Start, turn dial to Temp Boost. • After repositioning cycle selector, keep holding Start for 3 seconds then let go once 2 status lights illuminate. NOTE: 1 fault will be displayed immediately after entering this mode. After entering this test program • Door lock will activate • Motor starts turning anti-clockwise to 100rpm (Distribution Speed) • Motor speeds up quickly all the way to the maximum spin speed (or selected rpm on the spin dial or button) • While at max speed it will hold at this speed for about 3 minutes, eventually slowing down after 3 minutes is up. • To make the test program not repeat itself, turn cycle selector to Off. NOTE: Pump will NOT be activated so drum must have no water in it otherwise the program will cut out.
Page 42
SERVICE TIPS – WFG to WFX Test Program (4) To enter the display test/reset mode (tests status lights and resets control module’s processor) • Rotate cycle selector to Off position and rotate spin dial to max speed. • While holding Start, turn dial to Spin. • After repositioning cycle selector, keep holding Start for 3 seconds then let go once all status lights illuminate. After entering display test/reset mode • All status lights will illuminate. • All buttons and cycles will not be functional since the machine’s control module is being reset. • To exit this mode, turn cycle selector to Off.
