    INTRODUCTION Vehicle Identification The New Flyer vehicle identification plate is located in the driver’s area, above and to the left of the driver’s seat. The plate lists the Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR), the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR) for all axles.

    Hot Trans Indicator (Red) The Hot Transmission indicator is wired to the transmission con- trol system. This indicator illuminates and a warning buzzer sounds when the temperature sensors detect over-heated trans- mission fluid. Copyright © 1998 New Flyer Industries Ltd.

    The wheelchair system consists of a wheelchair lift and wheel- chair restraint system. Wheelchair Lift The New Flyer vehicle is equipped with a wheelchair lift system to assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle. Controls for this feature are located on the instrument panel.
