SafeLogic TopLit Series Operating Instructions
This manual is for the SafeLogic TopLit Series EC-0601A-PL series EntryPad used in conjunction
with EL-0601, EL-0701, or EL-0801 lock bodies.
Important:
● For indoor use only.
● Battery Low Voltage: 5.2 ± 0.2V. Repeated beeping (8 beeps) during an unlock
operation indicates that the battery is low and needs immediate replacement.
PLEASE REPLACE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY.

Battery Replacement Instructions

The safe lock system is powered by (1) 9V alkaline battery. The battery is housed inside the
EntryPad.
Follow the steps below to replace the battery.
1.
Turn the housing ring counterclockwise until it cannot move
(about 20°), then pull it off from the entrypad base. See Fig.2.

  • Page 2 2. Push the battery from the bottom left side of the entrypad and unsnap the battery from the connecter. See Fig.3. 3. Snap a new 9V alkaline battery onto the battery clip and put it back into the compartment by pushing it from the right side. Note: Tuck the cable into the the compartment and make sure the cable does not get caught in the housing ring.
