USING THE UNIT

Plug the subwoofer's power cable into an AC outlet (230V, 50-60Hz ~).
Now plug the desktop remote into the subwoofer using the accompanying cable: plug one of the two 3.5mm jack plugs into the socket on the back of the desktop remote, and plug the other one into the AUDIO INPUT socket on the subwoofer. Now connect the desktop remote to the PC: plug the green connector on the desktop remote cable into the speaker output socket (green), and the black connector into the sound card's microphone input socket (pink).
You can also connect a headset, or headphones and a microphone, to the desktop remote; doing this deactivates the sound to the speakers.
If you'd like to connect a second audio source, such as an MP3 player, to the desktop remote instead of a microphone, plug the desktop remote's black connector into your PC's Line-In socket (blue).
Now plug the satellite speakers into the subwoofer: plug the satellites' two phono connectors into the relevant output sockets on the subwoofer – red for right, white for the left channel.
Now set the volume level on the remote and the subwoofer to their lowest levels. Following that, switch the system on (set POWER to ON).
Now playback audio on your PC and adjust the volume as well as treble and bass levels to suit using the controllers on the front of the subwoofer.
If no signal is transmitted for 15-20 minutes, the speaker set will switch to power-saving mode. The status LED will then glow red. Set the subwoofer's 'Stand-by' button to 'OFF' to prevent it from entering stand-by mode automatically.

Intended use

This product is only intended as a speaker system for connecting to a computer or other audio source, and is designed for indoor use only. Jöllenbeck GmbH accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage to this product or injuries caused due to careless, improper or incorrect use of the product or use of the product for purposes not recommended by the manufacturer.
Place this device near an AC outlet that is easily accessible. This device will only be completely disconnected from the mains once it has been unplugged.

Avoiding hearing damage

PLEASE NOTE:
Listening to audio for extended periods at loud volume levels may cause permanent hearing damage, so check the volume level that has been set on the volume control each time before using the product, and avoid listening to audio at a high volume level.

Declaration of Conformity

Operation of the device (the devices) may be affected by strong static, electrical or high-frequency fields (radio installations, mobile telephones, microwaves, electrostatic discharges). If this occurs, try increasing the distance from the devices causing the interference.
