- Select AUX mode LED using FADER MODE key. Select an AUX 1-8 key.
Edit faders to create an Aux. Mix to stage monitor speaker or internal/external
effect. (rear panel OMNI OUT 1-8 default as Aux. Sends 1-8)
- Select EFFECT key, choose an Effects program, and edit if required. Aux Sends
1-4 default assign to internal Effects Processors 1-4.
- Select LAYER (33-48) key to access internal stereo Effects Returns on inputs 33-40.
- Select LAYER (MASTER) key. Edit master BUS and AUX output levels as required.
Operation:
Assemble a Program Mix, and store to one of 99 SCENE MEMORY locations:
- Double click SCENE key in DISPLAY ACCESS section. Cursor to Scene #1.
- Select STORE key in SCENE MEMORY section. Name the Scene, and enter OK.
- Manually revise the mix, noticing EDIT next to the scene number (top of screen).
Store the updated mix in a new Scene Memory location...OR overwrite revised
mix in the current Scene...OR select Recall to restore original mix parameters.
• Assemble a Stereo AUX Mix with effects:
- Select Fader Mode: AUX (green indicator lit). Select AUX #1. key.
- Assemble a mix for Aux. Send 1.
- Select PAIR/GROUP key, select OUTPUT tab, cursor to Aux 1-2, select Enter, and
follow screen. Select Aux. DISPLAY key to Pan 1-32 tab and edit pans as required.
- Add effect (reverb) to Stereo Aux. mix by selecting Fader Mode key: FADER, selecting
LAYER (33-48) key, & editing faders on Effect Return channels 33-34 as required.
• EQUALIZERS: Choose an input SELECT key. Equalize the channel by selecting an EQ
band key. Edit Gain, Frequency, and Bandwidth (Q) with rotary controls while observing
graphical view on screen. Store important EQ programs to Library locations.
DYNAMICS: Select DYNAMICS key. Enable GATE and COMPRESSOR on Inputs, and
COMPRESSOR on Outputs. Choose GATE EDIT tab. Edit parameters as required.
Choose COMP LIB tab. Select a compressor, limiter, compander etc. from library.
Select COMP EDIT tab. Edit parameters as required for Input Channels & Output Busses.
• EFFECTS: Select EFFECT key. Choose programs from four Effects Processors sourced
by Aux. Sends 1-4. Processor stereo outputs appear on Inputs 33-40 (LAYER 33-48).
• FADER & MUTE GROUPS: Select PAIR/GROUP key and choose FADER 1-32 tab.
Enable SELECT keys above input faders you need to group. Edit any fader as a submaster.
Select MUTE 1-32 tab. Create mute groups in the same manner.
PROGRAMMABLE FADE: Permits timed fades and crossfades up to 30 seconds duration.
Select SCENE key, choose IN FADE tab, set fade times via data wheel, and store within a
Scene Memory. Choose OUT FADE tab to program "fade outs" on all main outputs.
USER DEFINE KEYS: Quick keys for instant Scene Recall, channel Copy / Paste, and
multiple mixing shortcuts etc. Select User Define DISPLAY key to enter user preferences.
• Select VIEW or METER keys as convenient default screens while mixing.
