Safety Information

Protect the microphone from moisture and sudden impacts. You could either injure yourself or others or damage the microphone.
Do not blow into the microphone, and avoid knocking on the microphone grille. To check the function of the microphone you should speak into the microphone or scratch the microphone grille gently.
When using wired microphones always ensure that the microphone cable is laid so that it does not present a trip hazard.

Applications

The dynamic vocal microphone TG V35 s is a reliable and robust allrounder. Its beyerdynamic-typical, natural sound and the feedbackresistant supercardioid polar pattern convince vocalists, DJs and speakers in rehearsal rooms and on stage. Due to the high output level of the TG V35 s, a simple pre-amplifier suffices to achieve convincing results. Features a silent on/off-switch and includes a microphone clamp and storage bag.

Setting up

To avoid "pop" sounds hold the microphone below from the mouth slightly diagonally to sing or speak across the top edge of the microphone. Due to the close miking effect, sound and volume change according to the distance to the mouth. If you want a more intimate sound, choose a short distance (1").

Due to the supercardioid polar pattern the TG V35 s has a high gain-beforefeedback. To achieve maximum gain-before-feedback, the wedge monitor should be positioned at an angle of approximately 125° to the longitudinal axis of the microphone.

Connection

The TG V35 s provides a 3-pin XLR plug. You can connect the microphone to any balanced microphone input with an optional XLR cable.

Maintenance

For cleaning the microphone shaft and basket use a soft, damp cloth. If necessary use a mild cleaning agent (such as washing-up liquid), no solvent agents and take care not to allow any water drops into the microphone.

Service

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the product should be returned to your beyerdynamic dealer. Failure to do so will invalidate the guarantee.
