Hand-tighten the connectors securely. Do not use tools to tighten. Replace the control base side covers (36). NOTE: Never attach external accessories not supplied with the kit to the spa tub or control base unit, as this will void the warranty.

Common salt (sodium chloride) is made up of two elements, sodium and chloride. During the installation of the device, a measured quantity of salt is dissolved in the SPA water to make it slightly salty.

Do not put the control panel in the water. Submersion could cause water to enter the panel causing damage to the electronics.

Connect the drain valve adaptor to a garden hose and point the other end of the garden hose to a suitable draining area. Remove the drain valve cap from outside of the spa tub and attach the drain valve adaptor to the drain valve (see drawing 13).
