MAINTENANCE
REPLACE BREAKER CIRCUIT ADDITIONAL OIL FILTER ELEMENT
(If equipped)
Engine parts and oil are at high temperature immediately after the engine
is stopped, and will cause serious burns. Wait for the temperature to cool
down before starting the operation.
Prepare a container to catch the oil.
1. Place a container under the filter element to catch the oil.
2. Turn filter case (1) to the left to remove it, then take out element
(2).
3. Remove plug (3) from filter case (1).
4. Clean the removed parts, then install new element (2) and
O-ring (4).
5. When installing, bring the case into contact with the filter
holder, then tighten a further 1/2 turns.
NOTICE
For details of the replacement interval for the element, "MAINTENANCE
INTERVAL FOR HYDRAULIC BREAKER (PAGE 4-17)".
