    BEFORE INSTALLATION WARNING: You must ensure that your frame is designed to fit your REVIVE 272. Incorrect fit may result in slippage, faulty performance, injury or death, and may void your warranty. CAUTION: BikeYoke does not recommend modifying or altering your frame in any way.

    INSTALLATION STEP 1: INSTALLING REMOTE LEVER (2X) 1. Loosen and remove the clamping bolt on the 2X remote with a 3 mm Allen key. Open the hinged clamp, install the lever in the desired position and tighten the bolt. Maximum torque: 1,5 Nm OPEN 2.

  • Page 9 INSTALLATION STEP 2: CONNECTING CABLE TO SEATPOST NOTE: Don‘t manually actuate the post without connector nut #2, plunger #3 and spring #7 in place! 1. Feed the cable housing (#5) through your frame. 2. Screw the pre-assembled connector nut (#2), spring (#7), and plunger (#3) out of the seatpost using the assembly tool.
  • Page 10 INSTALLATION STEP 2: CONNECTING CABLE TO SEATPOST 8. Keep a little tension on the inner cable too, to avoid accidental disconnection of endcap (#4) and housing (#5).     INSTALLATION STEP 3: INNER CABLE ADJUSTING 1. Insert the inner cable through the remote lever and insert the cable housing into its seat. Make sure that there is no slack in the inner cable. Tighten the pinch bolt (Triggy) or the barrel nut (2X remote) with 2 Nm.

    INSTALLATION STEP 4: MINIMUM INSERTION DEPTH All seatpost models must be inserted into the bicycle’s seat tube while covering the minimum insertion line indicated on the seat- post. If your seatpost is shortened, the minimum insertion depth is WARNING: Insufficient seatpost insertion into the bicycle frame‘s seat tube could result in damage to the seatpost and/or bicycle, causing loss of control, which could lead to serious injury or death.

    MONTAGE SHORTENING LOWER TUBE The REVIVE 272 allows you to shorten the lower tube unit by up to 100 mm. Minimum insertion length of your REVIVE 272 is mm, no matter if the post is cut or not! The factory mark for minimum insert only applies for uncut posts.

    INSTALLATION STEP 4: INSERTING SEATPOST Insert the seatpost into your seat tube. When inserting or extending, make sure you do not pull too hard on the outer housing, while guiding it through the internals of your frame. Insert slowly and carefully!     USAGE BEFORE FIRST RIDE When you receive your post, it will have travelled a long way to reach you. Do a hydraulic reset using the REVIVE‘s patented reset feature after installing the post: 1. Extend the post completely by pushing the remote. 2.

    For this initial „break-away“ just push the remote and then gently push or pull the saddle until the post starts moving. Dissimilar to posts of other manufacturers it is acceptable for BikeYoke droppers to carefully pull on the saddle or lift the bike on the saddle.

    USAGE ADJUSTING RETURN SPEED Your REVIVE 272 comes with a factory setting of 240~250 psi in air pressure. This pressure will provide a good balance between return speed and lever force. However, if you feel your return speed is too slow, you can make your post faster by increasing air pressure up to a maximum of 290 psi.

    Depending on the amount of use and riding conditions, a shorter maintenance interval may be necessary in order to ensure a smooth function of your BikeYoke seatpost!

    To provide full return speed and smooth drop feel, your remote should have a least 10 mm of cable pull for REVIVE, REVIVE MAX and DIVINE, and at least 5 mm of cable pull for REVIVE 272, DIVINE SL and SL RASCAL.
  • Page 23 IMPORTANT: Do not grease the saddle clamp bolts. Can I lift my bike on the saddle? It is acceptable for BikeYoke droppers to carefully lift the bike on the saddle. When pulling on the saddle too quickly, you may have to use the reset function afterwards.

    VOR DER MONTAGE Prüfe, ob deine neue BikeYoke Sattelstütze in deinen Rahmen passt. Eine falsche Passung kann Rutschen, eine mangelhafte Performance und Verletzungen verursachen, und zum Erlöschen der Gewährleistung führen. ACHTUNG: BikeYoke rät dringend davon ab, an deinem Rahmen Modifikationen oder Änderungen jeglicher Art vorzunehmen.

    MONTAGE SCHRITT 1: REMOTEHEBEL MONTIEREN (2X) 1. Löse und entferne die Klemmschraube am 2X Remote mit einem 3er Inbus. Klappe die Lenkerschelle auf, bringe den Hebel in die gewünschte Position und fixiere die Schelle wieder. Maximales Drehmoment: 1,5 Nm AUFKLAPPEN 2.
  • Page 32 MONTAGE SCHRITT 1: REMOTEHEBEL MONTIEREN (TRIGGY) Der Triggy Remote kann lediglich an der linken Lenkerseite montiert werden. Das Drehmoment für die Klemmschraube beträgt maximal 1,5 Nm. Der Triggy kann mittels separater Montageschelle oder (optional) I-Spec Adapter am Lenker angebracht werden. I-Spec Adapter Anbauschema Fixierungspin (1 Nm) Schraube M5x6 (4 Nm)
  • Page 33 MONTAGE SCHRITT 2: ZUG MIT DER STÜTZE VERBINDEN HINWEIS: Betätige die Stütze niemals manuell, ohne dass Überwurfmutter #2, Stempel #3 und Feder #7 montiert sind! 1. Verlege die Zugaußenhülle (#5) durch deinen Rahmen. 2. Schraube die vormontierte Überwurfmutter (#2) samt Stempel (#3) mit dem Montagewerkzeug aus der Stütze.
  • Page 34 MONTAGE SCHRITT 2: ZUG MIT DER STÜTZE VERBINDEN 8. Halte die Außenhülle an den Remote-Hebel und simuliere einen großen Lenkeinschlag in beide Richtungen, um die notwendige Zuglänge zu bestimmen. Markiere die gewünschte Zuglänge. 9. Nimm die Stütze aus dem Rahmen, um die Außenhülle zu kürzen. Ziehe den Innenzug dabei aus der Außenhülle, um ihn beim Kürzen nicht zu beschädigen.
  • Page 35 MONTAGE SCHRITT 3: INNENZUG FIXIEREN 1. Führe den Schaltzug durch den Remote-Hebel und stecke die Außenhülle in den Zugspanner. Ziehe am Schaltzug um sicherzustellen, dass kein Spiel vorhanden ist und klemme den Zug mit der Klemmschraube (Triggy) oder der Klemmtonne (2X). DREHMOMENT: 2 Nm 2.
  • Page 36 MONTAGE SCHRITT 4: EINSTECKTIEFE SATTELSTÜTZE Die Sattelstütze ist mindestens so tief in das Sitzrohr des Fahrrades einzustecken, dass die Minimum-Insert-Markierung komplett vom Sitzrohr verdeckt ist (ungekürzte Stütze), oder mindestens eine minimale Einschubtiefe von mm erreicht wird! Falls der Hersteller deines Rahmen eine höhere Einsteck- tiefe fordert, so ist diese unbedingt einzuhalten.

    MONTAGE SATTELSTÜTZE KÜRZEN Die REVIVE 272 ermöglicht dir, die untere Rohreinheit um bis zu 100mm zu kürzen.   • Page 38 MONTAGE SCHRITT 4: SATTELSTÜTZE EINSTECKEN Schiebe die Stütze vorsichtig in das Sitzrohr deines Rahmens. Ziehe beim Justieren der Stützenposition nicht zu stark an der Zughülle, da diese etwas Spiel zur optimalen Funktion braucht. WARNUNG: Benutze die Stütze niemals außerhalb des erlaubten Auszugbereiches.

REVIVE 272 Klemmschalen sind neben runden und ovalen Sattelgestängen auch geeignet für Carbon-Sattelgestänge (7x7, 7x9 und 7x10mm).

    NUTZUNG VOR DER ERSTEN AUSFAHRT Durch den langen Transportweg bis zu dir kann es notwendig sein, den Hydraulikkreislauf nach Erhalt erstmalig zu resetten. 1. Drücke den Remote-Hebel, um die Stütze auszufahren. 2. Drehe das Reset-Ventil vorsichtig mithilfe eines 4 mm Inbusschlüssels im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag.

  • Page 41: Absenken Und Ausfahren

    Nach wenigen Einfederungsvorgängen wird die Stütze dann wie gewohnt funktionieren. Anders als bei anderen höhenverstellbaren Stützen schadet es dem Hydrauliksystem der REVIVE 272 nicht, wenn an der Stütze leicht gezogen wird, beispielsweise wenn das Fahrrad am Sattel aufgehängt oder angehoben wird.

  • Page 42: Ausfahrgeschwindigkeit

    NUTZUNG AUSFAHRGESCHWINDIGKEIT Deine REVIVE 272 Sattelstütze wird werksseitig mit einem Druck von 240-250 psi befüllt. Mit diesem Druck wird eine für die meisten Bedürfnisse ausreichende Ausfahrgeschwindigkeit bei gleichzeitig niedriger Hebelkraft erreicht. Falls dir die Ausfahrgeschwindigkeit zu niedrig ist, kannst du diese über höheren Druck in der Stütze anpassen.
  • Page 43 NUTZUNG AUSFAHRGESCHWINDIGKEIT 4. Entferne die kleine Edelstahlkappe vom Ventilgehäuse. Verliere diese Kappe nicht, da sie essenziell für eine einwandfreie Reset-Funktion ist. 5. Schraube den mitgelieferten Ventiladapter und eine geeignete Dämpferpumpe auf das Ventil. 6. Befülle die Stütze mit dem gewünschten Druck. Wir empfehlen keine Drücke unter 210 psi, da die Stütze zu langsam würde.
