The microphone is connected to the main board through a two pin
flexible cable.
Check microphone functionality either manually or with testing
program.
Use hot air blower remove defective cable.
Avoid excessive heat!
Watch surrounding components!
Resolder new cable afterwards.
Not possible!
Retest handset after repair.
