Process image of the AS-i modules

The function modules for AS-Interface are AS-i devices with extended addressing (so-called A/B
devices) in accordance with AS-i Specification V2.11/V3.0.
The modules have the AS-i profile (IO.ID.ID2) = 7.A.E with ID1 = 7 (default setting).
The settings of the ID1 in the AS-i master and in the AS-i module must match so that the AS-i
master can enter the module into the cyclic data mode. The value of the ID1 is not evaluated
in the function module. It is therefore recommended not to change the ID1 value, so that the
default setting is also valid after replacing a module (spare part case).
The process image of the AS-i modules contains 4 bit digital inputs and 3 bit digital outputs.

Process image input
From the point of view of the control/PLC, the process image input contains the most important
status information of the function modules for AS-Interface (direct-on-line starting, reversing
starting, and star-delta (wye-delta) starting).

General:
If the AS-i communication fails, the substitute value "0" is entered in the process image input
for D0...D3.
D0 (ready)
1: 24 V DC auxiliary voltage is present and AS-i communication is OK
D1 (motor on)
1: Switch position of the contactor contacts is in the ON position.
On reversing starter: Direction of rotation 1 (clockwise) or direction of rotation 2
(counterclockwise) is in the ON position.
On star-delta (wye-delta) starter: At least one contactor is in the ON position.
