2.3. Install the hardware

You can install a DE6400 or DE6600 storage system in a two-post rack or a
Lenovo system cabinet.
Before you begin
Before you install a DE6400 or DE6600 storage system, make sure you do the following:
• Register your hardware at

• Take anti-static precautions.
