1.3 Piping
1.3.1 Drain Piping (Refer to Figure 3)
(1) Cut the provided drain tube, φ8 mm dia., to the length required for drainage.
(2) Insert one end of the drain tube into the cylindrical part at the bottom of the device. Run the
other end into the drain ditch.
NOTE
The insertion of the drain tube into the cylindrical part at the bottom requires some force.
Check the connection for excessive deformation or burrs before inserting the tube.
CAUTION
• Do not connect the drain piping to other piping.
• Be sure to drain water to the open air.
• Exercise care in keeping the drain piping free of kinks. Obstructed drain piping
may cause water leakage and misjudgment.
• In case the drain piping is clogged and the internal pressure builds up, the device
relieves the pressure through either of the methods (1) and (2) shown below.
These methods cause drain water to leak down through the bottom of the device.
Be sure not to leave anything underneath the device.
(1) Water leaks out of the tube connection at the bottom.
(2) Water leaks out of the internal piping.
Water drains out of the drain hole in the bottom of the device.
