LYING: 0 – 5 months
When you carry your baby in the Baby-Bag, this posi-
tion is identical to the natural position of a newborn
baby, i.e. the foetal position. Sensing your warmth and
closeness, your baby feels safe and secure!
1 Take the Baby-Bag by the Prémaxx-label, insert your
left or right arm and your head through the sling and
hang the Baby-Bag over your shoulder. Make sure the
Prémaxx-label is on your shoulder and the clasp is on
your back. The mattress should be at stomach level. To
adjust the Baby-Bag see step 2.
2 Remove the sling from the sliding clasp and adjust
the Baby-Bag with the stepped clasp.
-
Shortest position: withdraw the stepped clasp to the
beginning of the sling and pull the sling as far as pos-
sible through the sliding clasp.
-
Longest position: slide the sliding clasp to the end of
the sling and close the stepped clasp at the end of the
sling.
3 Make sure that the end of the sling is always drawn
through the sliding clasp for extra safety.
4 Take the Baby-Bag at the Prémaxx-label on your shoul-
der and turn it halfway away from you. In this way you
have a better view of your baby.
5 Tighten the cord of the inner flap with the cordstopper
and tie a knot in the remaining length of the cord.
6 Place your baby in the Baby-Bag with its head on the
side where the sling goes over your shoulder. For
maximum comfort, place the head of your baby at
chest height and in the middle roll of the mattress.
7 Pull the inner flap upwards.
8 Tighten the cord of the outerflap with the cordstopper
and tie a knot in the remaining length of the cord.
Take your baby out of the Baby-Bag by releasing the cord
of the outer flap. Never remove the Baby-Bag while your
baby is still inside.

SITTING: 5 – 18 months
Carrying your baby in the sitting position in the Baby-
Bag is identical to the natural way of carrying a child of
5 months or older: sitting on your hipbone.
a Take the Baby-Bag by the Prémaxx-label, insert your
left or right arm and your head through the sling and
hang the Baby-Bag over your shoulder. Make sure the
Prémaxx-label is on your shoulder and the clasps on
your back. The mattress should be at hipbone level. To
adjust the Baby-Bag see step 2.
b Remove the sling from the sliding clasp and adjust
the Baby-Bag with the stepped clasp.
-
Shortest position: withdraw the stepped clasp to the
beginning of the sling and pull the sling as far as
possible through the sliding clasp.
-
Longest position: slide the sliding clasp to the end of
the sling and close the stepped clasp at the end of the
sling.
c Make sure that the end of the sling is always drawn
through the sliding clasp for extra safety.
d The sitting method is most comfortable when the
Prémaxx-label is on top of your shoulder.
e Take your baby high on your arm, against your shoul-
der. Insert the other arm through the Baby-Bag.
f Take your child on the other arm. With the released
arm pull the Baby-Bag over the back and bottom of
your baby. Put your baby on your hipbone, with its bot-
tom on the middle of the mattress. The child's legs
extend from the Baby-Bag: one leg in front and one leg
behind your body. Pull the lower flap to the inside,
between your child's legs.
-
Bring your hand across the front of your belly and via
this side pull the lower flap further upwards. Please
note: do not tighten the cord of the lower flap, just
pull the flap itself.
g Pull the outer flap upwards along the back of your
child. Tighten the cord of the outer flap with the cord-
stopper and tie a knot in the remaining length of the
cord.
Take your baby out of the Baby-Bag by releasing the cord
of the outer flap. Never remove the Baby-Bag while your
baby is still inside.
