FAQ
Why does the ICED coffee still brew
HOT?
The Breville Iced +Hot Coffeemaker brews
hot, concentrated coffee directly over
ice to quickly cool the hot coffee. This
process not only gives you iced coffee
in under 4 minutes, but also maximizes
flavor extraction and leaves you with a
refreshing cup of iced coffee. Our precise
measurements of water, coffee grounds
and ice ensure that your iced coffee is
always flavorful and never watered down.
My iced or hot coffee isn't strong
enough for my taste – what now?
No problem – everyone's tastes are
different! Feel free to add an extra ½ - 1
scoop of coffee grounds to the reusable
filter for a bolder cup of coffee. You can
also try selecting the " " setting for Hot
Coffee, as this pre-infuses the coffee
grounds with hot water and pauses
brewing cycle briefly to "bloom" the coffee
grounds for best extraction.
Is the tumbler dishwasher safe?
No, the tumbler, lid and straw should be
hand-washed only.

Why is there no ice left in my cup after
brewing iced coffee?
Try using bigger ice cubes when making
your iced coffee – these will melt slower
and give you ice in your drink for longer!
Also be sure you have filled your tumbler
all the way to the "ICE" marking.
Why are there coffee grounds in my
coffee?
You may have over-filled your reusable
coffee filter with coffee grounds, and they
could have spilled over the top. Although
this is uncommon, try using a little less
grounds next time and that should solve
this problem!
Can I use a different tumbler or cup for
making iced coffee?
Sure thing! Just ensure you keep the same
ratio of water-ground-ice to create the best
tasting iced coffee!
