In the Windows taskbar, select Start Control Panel and click
Network and Sharing Center.

Click Local Area Connection to bring up the Local Area
Connection Status dialog box, and click Properties.

In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box that appears,
double-click Internet Protocol 4 (TCP/IPv4).
d)
In the Internet Protocol 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties dialog box that
appears, set the IP address and subnet mask of the computer. For
details of the parameters, see Table 3-1.
