Power Supply Wiring Precautions
The following shows the considerations when wiring the power supply of this product.
■Wiring of power supply, I/O power supply wiring, and motor wiring
Wire cables of the product power supply, I/O power supply, and motor power supply separately as shown below.

■If high noise
Use an isolation transformer to reduce the noise such as the lightning surge.
Use the isolation transformer according to its usage environment and storage environment. The following table lists the
performance specifications of the recommended isolation transformer.

*1 Select an isolation transformer considering the power capacity of equipment to be used.
*2 Select the secondary voltage so that the input voltage specifications of the power supply module are met.
*3 Among required voltage values specified in UL and EN standards, stricter values are listed here.
*4 Use an isolation transformer in the conditions that satisfy the requirements of standards.
■Installation of breaker or external fuse
Always connect a breaker or external fuse between a power supply and the power input terminals (L and N) of this product. By
doing so, this product can be powered OFF on its own power input side.
If a breaker or external fuse is not connected, a large current keeps flowing when this product fails, which may cause smoke
or fire.
When a single product is used, connecting a breaker around 10 A or an external fuse is recommended.
■Power supply wiring
Do not install 100 VAC or 24 VDC wires bundled with or near the main circuit lines (high voltage and large current) or I/O
signal wires (including common lines). Keep a distance of 100 mm or more from these lines.
