    Quick Start Guide The right hearing aid is labeled with an R. The left hearing aid is labeled with an L. Ensure you insert the correct hearing aid into your ear. Follow these four easy steps to start. If you need more help, read the detailed sections about each step.
  • Page 8 • Close battery compartment door to turn your hearing aid on. PLACE WONDERMAX IN EAR • Hold your WonderMax from the removal thread on the bottom of the device, with dome pointed up. Use your thumb and forefinger. • Gently insert the device tip into your ear canal.

    Choose Your Best Ear Dome The dome is the small, soft tip on the end of the hearing aid that goes into your ear. The WonderMax domes come in three shapes and three sizes to perfectly fit your own ears.

    If you hear feedback (whistling or shrill sounds), try a different dome. If you can’t find a dome that fits or you want to order replacement domes, call (844)-913-3046, or visit wonder-ear.com/reorder. Install the Ear Dome The ear dome covers the wax guard and makes the hearing aid fit in your ear.

    Insert the Battery, and Power On The WonderMax comes with the required A10 batteries. To use them: 1. Peel off the adhesive tab to activate the new battery. 2. Wait for about one minute before you install the battery into your device.
  • Page 12 3. Open the battery compartment door with your fingernail. 4. Insert the battery with the + side facing up.
  • Page 13 5. Close the battery compartment door. This turns on your WonderMax. To turn it off, open the battery compartment door. Notes: • Open battery door when not in use. • Store new batteries in original packaging, with the tab on.

    The right hearing aid is labeled with an R. The left hearing aid is labeled with an L. Ensure you insert the correct hearing aid into your ear. If this is your first time using the WonderMax, it is helpful to use a mirror to practice.

    Adjust the Volume To have optimal control over the volume and reduce feedback, adjust the volume while the WonderMax is in your ear. At first, you can have someone else help you adjust the volume. Although adjusting it while in the ear is best, you can also change it before you put it in your ear.

    ADAPTING TO YOUR NEW HEARING AIDS IN 4 WEEKS Anything new takes some getting used to. To ease the process, we recommend following this four-week plan: Week: Begin wearing your new hearing aid(s) for 1–2 hours per day. You can wear them while you are at home watching TV, doing chores, or conversing with...

    • Remove batteries from your WonderMax if you will not be using it for several weeks. Replacing Your Wax Guard The small, white wax guard located on the small end of your hearing aid under the dome should be replaced every month.
