How many amps does this pit boss draw when running, I want to get a solar powered generator so that I can take this camping.

The Pit Boss PB150PPS operates at 220-240 volts and consumes 220 watts. To determine the current draw in amps, use the formula:

Amps = Watts / Volts

Using the lower voltage (220V):

Amps = 220W / 220V = 1 amp

Using the higher voltage (240V):

Amps = 220W / 240V ≈ 0.92 amps

So, the Pit Boss PB150PPS draws approximately 0.92 to 1 amp when running.
