Preparation

Mounting on a tripod

On a level, stable surface,
place the HKCA-700 on its
side so that the bottom may be
seen.

Attach the V-wedge shoe
(supplied with the tripod) to
the bottom of the HKCA-700
with the screws (also supplied
with the tripod).
Choose a V-wedge shoe
position taking into account the
center of gravity of the camera
system, which is made up of
the HKCA-700, camera,
viewfinder, and studio lens.
Choose a position such that the
camera system will be stable
atop the tripod.

Mount the HKCA-700 on the
tripod pan and tilt head.
Mounting the tripod attachment for camera mounting
The following procedure describes the mounting
of the supplied tripod attachment to the bottom of
the HKCA-700.

Loosen the lock lever on the
bottom of the HKCA-700.

Screws
(supplied with tripod)
Note
Always use the tripod attachment supplied with the
HKCA-700. If a different attachment is used, the
camera and lens will not be able to connect properly.
